Have worked in a busy law firm for at
least 3 years and should have vast
knowledge and experience dealing
with Conveyancing and Litigation
documents.
Be ready to work in the City of Nairobi .
Be computer literate.
Be ready to work under a very
demanding schedule and ability to
handle pressure.
Have excellent planning and
organizational skills.
Be able to operate a telephone
switchboard
Be able to speak excellent English
Have excellent skills in Public
Relations .
Have excellent communication and
interpersonal skills .
Have the ability to work with minimum
or no supervision.

EXECUTIVE SECRETARY JOB IN KENYA.SALARY 30K

Our client , a medium -sized
organisation in the cleaning services
industry is looking to fill the position
of a Executive Secretary . Reporting to
the Marketing and Business
Development Manager , the candidate
will be responsible for typing out of
tender documents, photocopying ,
organizing and filing paper and
computer files.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The main
responsibilities in this role include :
Typing out correspondence , letters,
tenders, proposals etc .
Filling the tender documents and
following up till prompt delivery is
realized
Liaising with the Zone Managers on
the costing of the tender documents
Keeping track of contract’s expiry
dates for renewal and prequalification
Typing the letters and handling all the
correspondences for the marketing
and business development
department
Execution of Administrative Functions
in the Marketing and Business
Development Department
Devising and maintaining an efficient
filing system ;
Ordering and maintaining stationery
and equipment supplies ;
Organising and storing paperwork ,
documents and computer- based
information;
Photocopying and printing various
documents, sometimes on behalf of
other colleagues .
Research information for proposals ,
tenders etc . as needed.
Any other duty as may be assigned by
management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : The
incumbent must possess the following
minimum qualifications and
competencies:
A minimum diploma in Business
Marketing and a certificate in
computerised full secretarial services
from KNEC / City Guilds . A Certified
Public Secretary ( K ) is an added
advantage
Can accurately type 60 to 80 words
per minute .
Strong proficiency in computer
applications especially Microsoft Word ,
Excel and Power point to produce
correspondence and documents
records.
Over 10 years ’ work experience in a
busy typing / secretarial working
environment. 2 years working in a
cleaning company will be an added
advantage
Strong degree of self -motivation and
drive, high ethical standards , honesty ,
values, principles and integrity .
Good reporting, organisation and
communication skills .
Ability to work with minimum
supervision.
A team player with the ability work
and communicate in a culturally
diverse environment

Remuneration: The salary for this
position is KSh 30 ,000 gross per
month.
