Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Focus: Work closely with developers and product owners throughout the development process to define, implement and execute system tests.
Job Duties
- Developing the test strategy for the testing team
- Preparation of test plans and scripts
- Elaborate the test plans for various products and projects
- Maintain high quality and accuracy up to software release
- Prepare a test plan and a test script for each software component to demonstrate the business
- condition under test and anticipated results.
- Provide feedback to the development team and Software Development Manager
- Provide estimates to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling
- Production testing
- Documentation of test results / test reports
- UAT assistance to Client
Knowledge and skills
- Understanding of testing philosophy
- Ability to setup new test framework
- Automated tests knowledge
- Scripting and programming experiences
- Right mind-set for testing and quality ensuring
- Attention to detail
- Good people skills
- Strong Customer interaction Skills
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Experience 3-4 years recommendable in testing Software or Software area
- Have an IT degree (or equivalent)
