North Coast Beach Hotel Jobs in Kenya: Food & Beverage Manager, Procurement Clerk, Sous Chef, House Keepers and Receptionist


1. Food and Beverage Manager

Applicants must be holders of a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

In addition, the applicant should meet the following requirements:

  •     Must be computer literate
  •     Have at least three (3) years relevant working experience in a busy Hotel environment.

Applicants with an Advanced Diploma in the relevant field may also be considered on condition that they have at least five (5) years relevant working experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of food and beverage preparation and service.

2. Procurement Clerk


Applicants should be holders of KCSE mean Grade C (plain) / KCE Division III and  above.

The applicants must be knowledgeable in procurement procedures and holders of a Diploma in Purchasing, Supplies Management or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.

In addition, the applicant must have the following:

  •     At least three (3) years post qualification relevant working experience in at least a 4 star hotel.
  •     Computer literacy.
  •     Ability to work independently.
  •     Knowledge in Micros Fidelio hotel system OR any other relevant computer program will be an added advantage.

3. Sous Chef

Applicants must be holders of KCSE Mean Grade C (plain)/ KCE Division III and above.

They must have a Certificate in Food Production or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

In addition they must have the following:

  •     At least three (3) years working experience in at least a 4 star hotel.
  •     Evidence of Computer literacy.
  •     Creativity, flexibility and good public relations skills.

4. House-Keeper

Applicants must be holders of KCSE Mean Grade C (Plain)/KCE Division III and above.

They must have a minimum professional qualification of a Diploma in Housekeeping and Laundry Services or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

In addition they must have at least three (3) years hands on working experience in at least a 4 star hotel.

Knowledge of Micros Fidello hotel system will be an added advantage.

5. Assistant House-Keeper

Applicants must be holders of KCSE Mean Grade D+ (plus) / KCE Division IV and above.

They must have a minimum professional qualification of a Certificate in Housekeeping and Laundry Services or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

In addition they must have at least three (3) years hands on working experience in at least a 4 star hotel.

Application knowledge of Micros Fidelio hotel system will be an added advantage.

6. Receptionist

Applicants must be holders of KCSE Grade D+ (PIus)/ KCE Division IV and above.

They must also have a Certificate in Front Office Operations or an equivalent Certificate from a reputable institution. addition, they should have the following:

  •     At least three (3) years working experience in at least a 4 star hotel.
  •     Application knowledge of Micros Fidelio hotel system.
  •     Ability to communicate in English and have additional foreign language preferably German, French or Italian.

 Applicants should request their Referees to write immediately and directly to the undersigned.

General Manager Job in North Coast Beach Hotel in Kenya

Interested candidates are invited to apply for this position in the North Coast Beach Hotel.

General Manager - North Coast Beach Hotel

Applicants must be holders of a Masters Degree in Business Studies or a related field from
a recognized University and or a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management or a related
qualification.

They must have at least eight (8) years relevant work experience in a busy hotel
and have excellent computer and communication skills.

The duties of the applicant will include:

  •     Coordinating all functions of the hotel.
  •     Ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in the operations of the hotel.
  •     Ensure maximum profitability in all the Hotel outlets.
  •     Coordinating staff training and development in all aspects of the hotel.
  •     Ensuring cordial relations between the Hotel and clients.
  •     Handling guest complaints.
  •     Ensuring achievement of set performance targets for the hotel.
  •     Preparation of annual Hotel budgets and work plans.
  •     Holders of additional professional qualification in management such as MBA, CPS, HRM or equivalent from a recognized Institution will have an added advantage.

Terms of Service:

The terms of service for the above include a generous medical scheme,
house allowance and commuting allowance, in addition to gratuity after
two (2) years of service.

The successful candidates will serve on a two (2) year performance based contract.
