MANAGEMENT TRAINEE(UNDERWRITING) VACANCY IN KENYA

Overall Purpose of Role
To train in all aspects of
underwriting, and assist officers in
the department to provide quality
service.

KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in reviewing all applications
for insurance –determine the
profiles of risks presented to the
company for insurance and assess
their acceptability or otherwise.
2. Assist in reviewing all reports from
various service providers relating to
proposals for insurance.
3. Assist in reviewing proposals for
insurance and adjust benefits where
necessary by reviewing previous
files, worksheets, etc
4. Preparation of policy documents.
5. Assist in doing reconciliations.
6. Assist in processing of quotations
and tender documents.
7. Assist in Liaising with
intermediaries for business support.
8. Processing of endorsements such
as credits and refunds.
9. Any other duties assigned by
management in line with task.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
from a recognized
University.
