Procurement Oficerr Jobs in Kenyua

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  •     Develop and implement effective stock control systems.
  •     Ensure compliance with Public Procurement Act 2005 and Regulations of Public Procurement Act of 2006 and any other regulation and directives that may be made by the government from time to time on procurement issues.
  •     Maintain an updated list of qualified and approved suppliers, contractors and consultants.
  •     Ensure sound management of stores and monitor levels of items to maintain minimum reorder levels.
  •     Receive tender documents, analyze and prepare reports for tender committee for discussions and approval.
  •     Ensure timely delivery of goods ordered to the store and maintain accurate records of procurement.
  •     Prepare annual procurement plans.

Qualifications, experience and other competencies

  •     Diploma in purchase/supplies management and degree will be an added advantage.
  •     strong interpersonal and communication skills
  •     Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  •     Proficiency of computer application packages.
  •     strong analytical skills.
  •     should have a work experience of at least 3years in the relevant position.

Terms of employment: 3years contract renewable.
